Nickname: You'd have to ask the other guys..."that pain in the ass from LA" is that a nickname?

Instruments: Bass, also guitar and vocals.

Previous and current bands: Brad and currently playing solo.

Favorite Brad moment: Hearing the songs on Shame evolve out of nothingness in that Belltown basement. I really remember feeling that we were making something cool that was certainly outside of my aesthetic at the time. Highlight was probably 20th Century...when Shawn started repeating those words as a chorus, I was stunned by its odd and simple genius. On a more comic note... During the recording of Shame, Stone dropped me off at my friend Alex's house (the founder of Rock Candy in Seattle), where I was staying, only for me to discover that the key was nowhere to be found as he drove away...It was raining and cold and I eventually spent the night on some musty old chair in the tool shed....very rock !!!

The trusty 1984 Fender P-Bass (not a classic by anyone's standard's but mine), Mike Berg's or Jeff Ament's bass amp or whatever they throw on stage for me. Two large Guild acoustics from the 70s. A thick yoga mat.
